GOING TO BOB!!!!!

 

Hi all, a little update to let everyone know that we are going to BOB THE BUILDER tomorrow!! Ethan is oh so excited and I am too. He has been to a live show before, it was Max and Ruby; we went with Tate and their Auntie LeeAnn! It was a great time but he does not remember as they were pretty little. So really this will be to him his very first live show. It is quite a while away in Hamilton, Ontario, about 3.5 hours and I know that is a real long time there and back but the show is 2.5 hours and I know Ethan will think it’s worth it! So hopefully he sleeps the whole way and wakes just in time to go in. That would kill two birds with one stone so to speak in the way of getting in a nap and being in geat spirits for the show. So all in all I am extremely excited. It will be Ethan his daddy and me, hopefully I will be able to post some good pics of the show!

FUN FUN FUN

On Tuesday we went to a birthday party we were invited to. The birthday boy was my best friends s son’s, Dallin.  Dal is our Godson and we love him immensly! The venue was  Chucky Cheese. We had such a good time.  Ethan was feeling sick the week before so we very relieved that he was feeling better as we were talking about the whle week prior. The cake was sponge bob, the rides were tons of fun for the kids and all in all we had a blast. We did not get home until after 9:00pm which is late for us, Ethan’s normal bedtime is 8:30, so I was exhausted when we finally plopped down for the night with Ethan tucked safely into bed.

Other than the that the week-end was pretty quiet ( my week-ends off consist of Tues. and Wed.) we just ate and stayed pretty close to the house.

I will be starting my actual week ends off in May and I am really looking forward to having normal work weeks like the rest of the worldfor the whole sumer!

Back!

Hi, sorry I have been on a hiatus recently from posting. I just had to drop a little line to let everyone know that, ETHAN PEED IN THE POTTY!!!!!!!!!!!! I am beyong excited, yep, all on his own, he peed, in the potty!

 

He said,  ”potty mama”, and I was like “okay, we have been through this before”, usually to no avail, but I still obliged and opened up his potty and stripped him from his diaper. I went into the kitchen to stir lunch and Ethan comes in and says, “come mama, come!” So I follow him into the living room where his potty sat, and he points into it, and lone and behold…oh my gosh!! There is peeh in there! He did it! He peed all by himeself, and even in the potty, not on my floor! Yeah! There is some progress, just as I was starting to get discouraged! If anyone who is reading this has any advice/tips, please feel free to let me know, I would be happy for a little advice!

Earth hour update

 Last night went well, although I will be honest it was not easy and we had to cheat a little. I mean c’mon during this hour I have to bath Ethan as well as read him his bedtime stories. So what we did was turn out all lights except the bathroom light so I could bathe the babe, and then we turned on a small lamp in order to read him his bedtime stories, elsewhere in the house it was lights out! I know, I know I should have used candles, but I will be honest I am a tad nervous having lit candles anywhere around a two year old. I know this could just be a case of first time mommy syndrome as I’d like to call but, but that’s me.

Earth hour!

Today is earth hour between 8 and 9 o’clock. I wonder what the Fox network will  think of this, as this is between the hours of the airing Fox show, Cops. Good thing I absoletely do not care about Cops, I do however care about the earth. Our family will be participating in earth hour, and I hope most of the community will too, sorry scratch that I hope that all of the community will participate!

HAPPY EASTER!

                           

Today Ethan and his daddy got to go to an Easter egg hunt across from our apartment in the town square, I called then today and they had such a good time, I will be posting some pictures later as my “send to editor” button is not working. They really had a great idea by separating the little little ones from the bigger kids. This way the little ones got a good chance of picking up some yummy treats. Ethan was not too interested in picking up any easter eggs, but his cousin Tatum was all over it like white on rice, I mean apparently she was picking up one after another! Ethan on the other hand was just kinda checking thing out slowly but surely. That says alot about him, not greedy, just glad to be part of the action. I will update my pictures later as soon as I get the “send to editor” issue figured out!
